Your new local or toll-free number from us can typically be forwarded to any number within the United States. There are certain areas around the world such as Canada, Mexico, and even China that we receive low enough calling rates on to allow you to forward your number there. We advertise only service within the US as international rates may change at any time. You can test certain numbers via the manage link in your account. If you try forwarding to a phone number that is a high-rate destination, it will return an error.
There are however, certain areas considered to be within the "United States" and even have a US area code which are specifically blocked due to the high-rate for terminating calls there. These areas include:
U.S. Virgin Islands (Area code 340)
Puerto Rico (Area codes: 787 & 939)
Guam (Area code: 671)
U.S. Minor Outlying Islands (Area/Country code 699)
